UTAH VALLEY'S TARAWHITI, JAREMA NAMED WAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Utah Valley sophomore outside hitter Kazna Tarawhiti and senior middle blocker Makaila Jarema have been named the WAC Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, for the week of Oct. 14-20. This is the second WAC Player of the Week honor of the season and fourth of her career for Tarawhiti and the second of the season and fourth of her career for Jarema.

Tarawhiti, a Lehi, Utah native, averaged WAC bests of 4.75 points and 4.0 kills on .488 hitting to go along with 0.33 service aces to lead the Wolverines to a 2-0 mark on the week. She posted a career-high in WAC matches .538 hitting percentage with 16 kills against Chicago State last Monday. Tarawhiti followed it up with eight kills and just one error on 17 attempts in a sweep of Seattle U, when she also added two service aces. She currently leads the WAC in kills (3.83) and points (4.36) per set.

Jarema, a Highland, Utah native, averaged a WAC-best 1.83 blocks per set last week. She tallied a season-high eight blocks in a sweep of Seattle U on Saturday. Jarema currently leads the WAC in blocks (1.47) per set.

Other offensive nominees included: Cassidy Dennison of California Baptist averaged 3.00 kills and 3.1 points per set last week ... CSU Bakersfield's Sidney Wicks averaged 10.80 assists, 0.80 kills, 0.20 service aces and 1.3 points per set on the week ... Kaira Moss of Grand Canyon averaged 3.4 kills on .424 hitting and 4.2 points on the week ... Kansas City's Alicia Harrington averaged 3.63 kills and 4.1 points per set last week ... Cat Kelly of NM State averaged 3.57 kills and 3.7 points per set as the Aggies went 2-0 ... Seattle U's Rachel Stark averaged 2.67 kills and 2.8 points per set last week ... Barbara Silva of UT Rio Grande Valley averaged 3.0 kills on .412 hitting and 3.2 points per set last week.

Other defensive nominees included: California Baptist's Nicole Abreu averaged 3.63 digs per set ... Kaira Moss of Grand Canyon averaged 1.50 blocks and 0.50 digs per set last week ... Kansas City's Alex Ratzlaff averaged 4.25 digs per set ... Analyssa Acosta of NM State averaged 4.14 digs per set ... Seattle U's Tijana Milojevic averaged 3.50 digs per set ... Sarah Cruz of UT Rio Grande Valley averaged 1.14 blocks and 2.00 digs per set.

WAC STAT LEADERS
NM State leads the WAC in hitting percentage (.267), opponent hitting percentage (.100), assists (12.13), kills (13.13) and blocks (3.03), while Kansas City is tops in service aces (1.58) and Grand Canyon leads the league and Chicago State is tops in digs (15.52).

Individually, Utah Valley's Kazna Tarawhiti leads the WAC in kills (3.83) and points (4.36), while NM State's Megan Hart is tops in hitting percentage (.421) and teammate Julianna Salanoa leads the league in blocks (1.47). Kansas City's Alli Schomers leads the league in assists (9.58), while Seattle U's Tijana Milojevic is tops in service aces (0.40) and Chicago State's Megan Klavitter leads the WAC in digs (5.11).

In WAC matches only, NM State leads the league in hitting percentage (.271), opponent hitting percentage (.100), assists (12.64), kills (13.57) and blocks (3.21), while Kansas City is tops in service aces (1.65) and Grand Canyon leads the league in digs (15.13).

Individually in WAC matches, Kansas City's Alicia Harrington leads the WAC in kills (3.9) and points per set (4.44), while GCU's Annabelle Kubinski is tops in hitting percentage (.500). Kansas City's Schomers leads the WAC in assists (10.55), while teammate Alex Ratzlaff is tops in service aces (0.46). NM State's Salanoa is tops in blocks (1.64).and Chicago State's Klavitter leads the WAC in digs (5.26).

CSUB'S WICKS SURPASSES 2,000 CAREER ASSISTS
CSU Bakersfield redshirt senior Sidney Wicks posted a career-high 54 assists against Grand Canyon on Oct. 17 to surpass 2,000 career assists. The Aurora, Colo. native became just the 10th Roadrunner in CSUB's history to accomplish the feat. She now has 2,056 on her career.

KC'S ALICIA HARRINGTON APPROACHES THIRD PLACE IN KILLS
Kansas City senior outside hitter Alicia Harrington surpassed 1,000 career kills in loss to Northern Iowa on Sept. 13. She now has 1,196 kills on her career, 33 shy of third place in program history.

CHICAGO STATE'S KLAVITTER MOVES INTO THIRD PLACE IN CAREER DIGS
Chicago State senior libero Megan Klavitter has 1,935 career digs, seven shy of second place all-time in the WAC record books. She is 325 digs away from the all-time record.

SEATTLE U'S MILOJEVIC APPROACHING PROGRAM DIGS RECORD
Seattle U's Tijana Milojevic notched her 1,000th career dig in the season opener against Southern Miss on Aug. 30 to become only the fourth Redhawk since 2008 accomplish the feat. With 1,330 career digs, she is seven digs shy of becoming the program's all-time digs leader in its Division I history.

NM STATE'S SALANOA POSTS SEASON-HIGH 11 BLOCKS
NM State junior middle blocker Julianna Salanoa posted a WAC season-high 11 blocks at California Baptist on Oct. 7. The total also ranks second all-time in the Aggie record books for a four-set match.

UTRGV MOVES INTO TOP 10 FOR ATTENDANCE
With six home matches remaining, UT Rio Grande Valley is already in the midst of one of the best attended seasons in program history. The Vaqueros have a total attendance of 5,038 this year, which ranks eighth all-time in program history. If UTRGV continues its average of 840 fans per match, it will break the all-time record of 9,786 set a year ago.

KANSAS CITY'S SCHOMERS MOVES UP CAREER ASSISTS LIST
Kansas City setter Alli Schomers currently ranks fifth in program history in career assists with 2,088. She is 250 shy of fourth place.
