DENVER –
California Baptist freshman outside hitter Christine Graf and Grand Canyon junior libero Teagan DeFalco have been named the Western Athletic Conference Offensive and Defensive Volleyball Players of the Week, respectively, for the week of Sept. 16-22. This is the first-ever WAC Player of the Week honor for Graf and the first of the season and second of her career for DeFalco.

Graf, an Edina, Minn. native, averaged 3.75 kills on .343 hitting en route to all-tournament team honors last week at the Nevada Invitational, as CBU went 2-1 with a four-set win over Gonzaga, a sweep of Southern Utah and a five-set loss to Nevada. DeFalco opened the week with 28 digs in a three-set match against CSUN for a 9.33 digs per set average. She followed it up with 20 digs in a win over Idaho and 19 digs in a come-from-behind victory over Omaha.
