WAC Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week Announced

DENVER – CSU Bakersfield's Autumn D'Arcy has been named the Western Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week, respectively, for Nov. 27-Dec. 3.

D'Arcy, a freshman from Redlands, Calif., earned first in the 100 butterfly and second in the 200 individual medley. She set a new school record in the 100 butterfly in a time of 53.50. She also swam the fourth-fastest 50 freestyle time in program history while leading the 200 freestyle relay to fifth place and the fourth-fastest time in program history. Her time of 2:02.61 in the 200 individual medley is best in the WAC this season. D'Arcy also leads the WAC in the 100 butterfly.

Other swimmer nominees: Idaho's Brianna Lucien posted the fastest time in the 400 individual medley in the WAC this season and her time ranks fourth in program history.
