SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The United Soccer Coaches announced the 2018 NCAA Division I men's soccer All-America teams in conjunction with the College Cup banquet and a pair of Air Force players were recognized.
2018 WAC Offensive Player of the Year Tucker Bone was honored as a first-team selection for the second straight season, joining Indiana's Andrew Gutman as the only repeat selections. Bone helped lead the Falcons to the third round of the NCAA tournament, scoring 13 goals and assisting on six others.
In addition to being the seventh first-team All-America selection in WAC men's soccer history, Bone becomes the first player in league history to be named to the first team multiple times. He is the third player to be named All-America multiple years, joining SMU's Daniel Hernandez (1996, '97) and Tony Soto (1997, '98).
Teammate Austin Dewing was named a third-team selection after scoring 12 goals and assisting on five more in helping Air Force win its second-straight WAC regular season title. He concludes his outstanding career with 29 goals scored, sixth-best in WAC history, and 77 points, fifth-best in WAC history.
