Men's Championship Game
#3 New Mexico State 64, #4 UT Arlington 55
New Mexico State University punched its card to the NCAA Tournament with a 64-55 win over UT Arlington in the final game of the WAC Tournament Saturday night. Tournament MVP Sim Bhullar, netted 16 points and added 15 rebounds as he helped the Aggies prolong their season. Daniel Mullings (16) and Bandja Sy (10) also hit double figures on the score sheet for the Aggies. UTA's Kevin Butler scored 13 points and fought for 10 boards for the Mavs.

Men's Semifinal Round
#3 New Mexico State 74, #7 Texas State 65
New Mexico State advanced to the men's championship game for the second consecutive season, defeating Texas State 74-65 on Friday night. The Aggies used scoring the scoring efforts of Sim Bhullar (14) and Renaldo Dixon (13) to boost them into the tournament's final game. Bhullar also added 10 rebounds for the Mavs, as two other Aggies reached double figure scoring. Texas State's Joel Wright finished his tournament run with a double-double, scoring 17 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. 

#4 UT Arlington 69, #9 UTSA 53
In its first season in the WAC, UT Arlington will play for the conference championship on Saturday night after defeating UTSA, 69-53. UTA was led by Karol Gruszecki and his game-high 19 points. The Mavs shot 50.9 percent from the field, aided by Jamel Outler's 13 points. Shaqui White-Miller dished out seven assists for the Mavs. UTSA's Jeromie Hill netted 17 points and fougth for six boards as the Roadrunners tournament run came to an end.

Men's Second Round
#3 New Mexico State 65, #6 Idaho 49
New Mexico State used 23 point effort from guard Daneil Mullings to propel the Aggies into the semifinal round of the WAC Tournament with a 65-49 win over the University of Idaho. Bandja Sy added 14 points and seven rebounds for the Aggies. NMSU shot an even 60 percent from the field in Thursday's contest. Idaho's Kyle Barone led all Vandals with 19 points and five rebounds on the day.   

#7 Texas State 72, #2 Denver 68
In the tournament's first big upset the No. 7 seeded Texas State Bobcats defeated the No. 2 seed Denver Pioneers, 72-68. Joel Wright posted a game high 32 points sending the Bobcats to a semifinal matchup with No. 3 New Mexico State. Texas State shot 65.7 percent from the field, one major reason they were able to hold off the Pioneers comeback. Denver's Brett Olson hit three, three point shots, including two in the final minute, helping him to a team high 19 points.  

#9 UTSA 73, #1 Louisiana Tech 67
UTSA tied a WAC Tournament record becoming the second No. 9 seed to knock off the No. 1 seed in the tournament. The Roadrunners defeated Louisiana Tech 73-67, becoming the first No. 9 to do so since 1990. UTSA's Kannon Burrage put in 26 points and totaled 13 rebounds. Michael Hall III added 17 points and six boards for the Roadrunners. Louisiana Tech's Kenneth Smith scored a team high 16. 

#4 UT Arlington 83, #5 Utah State 78
UT Arlington advanced to the semifinal round to play No. 9 UTSA with a 83-78 win over Utah State. Kevin Butler paced UT Arlington with a game-high 23 points. Karol Gruszecki helped with 17 points, while Jordan Reves and Cameron Catlett each added 12 for the Mavs. Utah State's Jarred Shaw recorded 20 points and nine boards for the Aggies.

Men's First Round
#7 Texas State 68, #10 Seattle U 56
Texas State's Joel Wright went 7-12 from the field on his way to a 26 point night, leading the Bobcats to a 68-56 win over Seattle U Tuesday night. Wright added nine rebounds, while sophomore Matt Staford put up 13 points. The Redhawks Prince Obasi recorded a double-double on the night with 10 rebounds and 13 points. Deshaun Sunderhaus was the high scorer for SU, totaling 15 on the night.

#9 UTSA 67, #8 San Jose State 49
Jeromie Hill recorded his fourth double-double of the year, posting 21 points and 10 rebounds as the Roadrunners defeated San Jose State, 67-49. Three other Roadrunners scored in double digits, including a 20 point performance by Kannon Burrage and a 14 point game by Edrico McGregor. SJSU's LaVanne Pennington scored 21 points as the Spartans effort fell short Tuesday night.
