DENVER - Three WAC soccer players were selected to the 2011 All-West Regional team, announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Utah State's Shantel Flanary and Natalie Norris earned second-team honors, while Idaho's Chelsea Small earned third team recognition.

Flanary, a senior forward from Highland, Utah (Lone Peak HS), earned her second Player of the Year honor after she scored 10 goals and added six assists for the season. She also was named 2009 WAC Offensive Player of the Year and was the 2008 Freshman of the Year.

Norris, a junior defender from Sandy, Utah (Alta HS), was named the WAC's Defensive Player of the Year for the second season in a row. She anchored the defense for the Aggies that allowed only three goals during conference play, leading Utah State to the WAC regular season and tournament crowns.

Small, from Solana Beach, Calif., is a three-time first-team All-WAC honoree who tied for second in the WAC with 10 goals and 24 points scored on the season.
