LOGAN, UTAH - Denver claimed the 2012 WAC Gymnastics Championship Saturday night in Logan, Utah. The Pioneers finished the meet with 196.350 points, followed by Sacramento State with 195.675 points. Southern Utah was third with 195.025, while San Jose State was fourth with 194.800. Utah State was fifth with 194.775.
San Jose State's Thomasina Wallace was named Gymnast of the Year, while Sacramento State's Kalliah McCartney was the WAC Freshman of the Year. Kim Hughes of Sacramento State was named Coach of the Year.
