DENVER - The Western Athletic Conference announced the following staff promotions at the conference office.  Mollie Lehman has been promoted to Associate Commissioner and Chief Financial Officer while Matt Pucak has been promoted to Assistant Director of Championships and Media Relations.  This follows last week's announcement that Jeff Hurd was named Interim Commissioner of the WAC.

Lehman was previously Assistant Commissioner for Business & Operations since 2010.  She started her career with the WAC in August of 2007, managing the business and operations' aspects of the conference office.  She has an undergraduate degree from Binghamton University and an MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver.

Pucak joined the WAC staff last fall as an intern for championships and media relations.  He was promoted to a full-time position following the resignation of Brad Jones who served as the WAC's Director of Championships the past two seasons.  Jones left the WAC to become the Director of Football Administration at the University of Hawai'i.  Pucak has an undergraduate degree in journalism and technical communication from Colorado State University.
