WAC Sports Properties is the multimedia rights holder for The Western Athletic Conference (WAC). The WAC is a major Division 1-A collegiate athletic association consisting of nine schools located throughout the Western United States. Presently, the WAC crowns team and individual champions in 19 sports-eight men's and 11 women's. The league relationship is a natural fit for Learfield Sports as the company already represents six WAC member schools – Idaho, Fresno State, Louisiana Tech, Nevada, San Jose State and Utah State. As part of the eight-year agreement, WAC Sports Properties will focus on creating a corporate partnership program for the WAC and selling title sponsorships for championship events as well as other conference events.
