She ranks third in the WAC in runs (35) and RBI (38), fifth in hits (54), tied for sixth in doubles (11), seventh in home runs (7), eighth in batting average (.353.), slugging percentage (.562) and total bases (86), and 10th in on-base percentage (.402). Last year, Barak was named to the Academic All-America® second team at the Division II level.

A senior pitcher from Tempe, Ariz., Pesqueira has a 3.42 GPA in psychology. She posted a perfect 8-0 mark in conference play and led the league in WAC games in opponent batting average (.193), innings pitched (67.1), strikeouts (42) and wins (8). The 2013 Pacific West Conference Pitcher of the Year and Grand Canyon’s all-time leader in wins (36), she was named WAC Pitcher of the Week four times during the season.
