Grand Canyon 3, New Mexico State 2
The Antelopes swept the series with New Mexico State with a 3-2 win over the Aggies in the finale Saturday at Stapleton-Pierson Field. With the victory, Grand Canyon improves to 25-17 overall and 10-2 in the WAC. NM State drops to 26-19 on the season and 8-4 in WAC play.

Kelsey Barak was 2-for-3 with a solo homer and two RBI to lead Grand Canyon. Kayla Henry drove in the other Antelope run.

Kelsey Dodd was 2-for-2 with a two-run homer for New Mexico State.

Stephanie Pesqueira earned the complete-game win, improving to 13-7 on the year. She gave up two runs on five hits, striking out six and walking four.

Celisha Walker took the loss to drop to 7-6 on the year. She allowed one unearned run on two hits over 1.2 innings. Starter Makayla McAdams gave up two runs on two hits over 4.1 innings.

Kansas City 3, Utah Valley 2
The Kangaroos won the series against Utah Valley with a 3-2 victory in the finale Saturday at the Missouri 3&2 Complex. With the win, Kansas City improves to 16-32 on the season and 5-7 in WAC play. The Wolverines fall to 13-31 overall and 5-7 in the WAC with the loss.

Katie Kelley was 2-for-3 with one RBI, while Caitlin Christopher and Marlee Maples drove in the other two runs for the 'Roos.

Megan Peay was 2-for-3 with a solo homer, while Brianna Gatlin drove in the other Utah Valley run in the loss.

Kelley earned the complete-game win in the circle to improve to 10-14 on the year. She allowed two runs on seven hits with seven strikeouts and one walk.

Kelsey Lawton took the loss to fall to 2-4 on the season. She allowed two runs on three hits over 2/3 of an inning. Bailey Moore threw 5.1 innings in relief, giving up one run on three hits. She had two strikeouts and one walk.

Bakersfield 2, Seattle U 1
Bakersfield defeated the Redhawks U 2-1 in the first half of a doubleheader Saturday at the Roadrunner Softball Complex.

Karissa Veiga was 2-for-3 and scored a run, while Amy Ricciardi scored a run and drove in a run.

Pinch hitter Malin Murray drove in Seattle U's only run in the game.

Kelsie Monroe earned the complete-game win in the circle, improving to 9-17 on the season. She gave up one run on five hits, striking out four and walking one.

Richelle Ashburn took the loss to drop to 2-9 on the year. She allowed one earned run on five hits with two strikeouts and a walk.

Bakersfield 3, Seattle U 0
The 'Runners shut out Seattle U 3-0 in the finale to win theri first-ever WAC series Saturday. With the win, Bakersfield improves to 13-35-1 overall and 3-9 in WAC play. The Redhawks drop to 16-30 on the season and 5-7 in the WAC.

Madison Bundy was 2-for-3 with one RBI, while Kara Frankhouser and Ricciardi drove in one run each.

Lyndsay Klimenko earned the complete-game win, scattering four hits. She improves to 2-8 on the season with the victory.

Lindsay Davis suffered the loss in the circle to drop to 8-7 on the year. She allowed three runs on seven hits.
