San Jose State 2, New Mexico State 1
Cheryl Freitas hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh inning to give San Jose State a 2-1 win over New Mexico State Friday. The win, the Spartans' 37 of the season, set the program record for wins in a season. Amanda Pridmore earned the complete-game win, striking out three and improving to 22-10 on the season.

Louisiana Tech 4, Seattle U 3
The Lady Techsters plated a run in the top of the seventh inning to break a tie in a 4-3 win over Seattle U in the first game of a doubleheader Friday. Melanie Goff was 2-for-3 wit two RBI and earned the win in the circle to improve to 3-5 on the year.

Louisiana Tech 7, Seattle U 3
LA Tech had 12 hits en route to a 7-3 win in the nightcap. Erin Kipp was 3-for-4 with a solo homer to lead the Lady Techsters at the plate. Michelle Jones earned the complete-game win in the circle, striking out six.

Texas State 14, Utah State 0 (5)
The Bobcats rattled off 15 hits en route to a 14-0 five-inning win over Utah State in the first half of a doubleheader Friday. Anna Hernandez was 4-for-4, while Brooke Baker was 2-for-4 with four RBI. Rayn House earned the shutout win in the circle.

Texas State 9, Utah State 8
Texas State scored an unearned run in the top of the seventh inning that proved to be the difference in a 9-8 win over the Aggies in the nightcap. Coralee Ramirez drove in three runs to lead the Bobcats at the plate. Ashley Wright earned the win, her eighth of the season.

UT Arlington 4, UTSA 1
The Mavericks kept their WAC Tournament hopes alive with a 4-1 win over UTSA Friday. Rebecca Stokes was 1-for-3 with two RBI to lead UT Arlington. Teri Lyles earned the complete-game win, striking out six.
