New Mexico State 8, Seattle U 0 (6)
New Mexico State remained atop the WAC standings with an 8-0 six-inning run-rule win over Seattle U Friday. Malena Padilla was 2-for-4 and drove in three runs, while Staci Rodriguez was 3-for-3 with three runs and two RBI. Alex Newman earned the win to improve to 20-9 on the season.

San Jose State 3, Texas State 0
Markesha Collins drove in all three runs as San Jose State shut out Texas State 3-0 in the first half of a doubleheader Friday. Amanda Pridmore earned the win, throwing 1.2 hitless innings and striking out two.
 
San Jose State 8, Texas State 2
The Spartans rattled off 16 hits en route to an 8-2 win over the Bobcats in the nightcap. Six different SJSU players had multi-hit games, led by Devin Caldwell, who was 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI. Pridmore earned the complete-game win to improve to 23-9 on the season.

UTSA 4, Louisiana Tech 1
The Roadrunners defeated Louisiana Tech 4-1 in the first half of a twinbill Friday, despite being out-hit 4-3. Megan Low drove in a run to pace UTSA at the plate. Haylee Staton earned the complete-game win, striking out eight.

In the nightcap, the Lady Techsters shut out the Roadrunners, 1-0. Erin Kipp was 2-for-2 and drove in the only run of the game. Michelle Jones picked up the complete-game win in the circle to improve to 11-8 on the year.

UT Arlington 1, Utah State 0 (8)
Utah State walked in the only run of the game as UT Arlington defeated the Aggies 1-0 in eight innings in the first half of a doubleheader Friday. Teri Lyles earned the win, throwing all eight innings, scattering four hits and striking out four.

In the nightcap, Kallan Thompson drove in the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning as the Mavericks defeated Utah State 1-0. Callie Collins picked up the eight-inning shutout, striking out four.
