DENVER – New Mexico State’s Kenneth Fadke and Texas State’s Krista Puisite were named the Western Athletic Conference Golfers of the Week for April 1-7.
Fadke, a freshman from Hobbs, N.M. (Hobbs HS), tied for fifth place at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational over the weekend in Tempe, Ariz.  Fadke shot a 5-under 66 in the final round with three birdies and an eagle to finish at 6-under for the tournament (72-69-66—207).  The 66 was a career-low for him and the best by any player in the 100-player field for the third round.
