SACRAMENTO, Calif. --(SAC Media Relations) Nathan Lukes went 3-for-4 and Sacramento State overcame a three-run deficit to defeat UC Davis, 6-4, on Tuesday at John Smith Field. The victory was the second by the Hornets this season over the Aggies in the ScholarShare Causeway series. The teams will meet for a third time on May 7 in Davis.
Sacramento State (15-13) continued its success in midweek games, improving to 5-1 this season on Tuesdays. UC Davis dropped to 10-16 overall and lost its fourth consecutive games.

BELLEVIEW, Wash.--(SU Media Relations) Seattle University lost to the University of Washington, 14-1, Tuesday night in a non-conference collegiate baseball game at Bannerwood Park.

Washington (7-19) scored in the top of the second inning as Ryan Wiggins led off with a single, advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt, reached third on another bunt, and scored on a single by Ty Afenir. Wiggins led off the fourth inning with a single, and the Huskies loaded the bases on successive singles by Austin Rei and Andrew Ely. However, Seattle U starting pitcher Andrew Olson (Enumclaw, Wash.) started a 1-2-3 double play, and Washington failed to score.

Texas A&M 11, UTSA 4

COLLEGE STATION — (UTSA Media Relations)  UTSA jumped out to a 3-0 lead before an extended rain delay, but the Roadrunners were limited to only one run after the three hour and 12 minute interruption and No. 18 Texas A&M rallied for an 11-4 victory on Tuesday night at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.

The Roadrunners (16-13) plated three unearned runs in the opening frame and held the advantage until play was halted in the middle of the fourth inning due to rain and lightning.
