DENVER -(DU Media Relations) University of Denver junior forward Chris Udofia (Irving, Texas) scored 21 points and dished out five assists, leading the Pioneers to their ninth-straight win with an 84-55 rout over Texas-Arlington at Magness Arena on Thursday evening.

Denver (20-8, 15-2 WAC), which has gone 16-1 since New Year's Eve, will play Louisiana Tech at home Saturday evening with a shot to win a share of the WAC regular season championship.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (NMSU Media Relations)-The New Mexico State men's basketball team snapped Louisiana Tech's 18-game winning streak, which was the nation's longest, with a 78-60 victory. The Aggies (20-10, 13-4 WAC) also handed the Bulldogs (26-4, 16-1) their first loss in the WAC.

Sophomore guard Daniel Mullings scored a game-high 23 points on 50 percent shooting from the field (7-of-14) and 80 percent (8-of-10) shooting at the free-throw line. This was Mullings' second-best scoring performance of the season.

LOGAN, Utah -(USU Media Relations) Utah State had four players score in double-figures led by junior guard/forward Spencer Butterfield’s 10 points and 20 rebounds in its 77-61 Western Athletic Conference home win against Texas State here Thursday as USU recorded its 14th straight 20-win season.

Utah State is now 20-9 on the season with the win, including a 10-7 WAC record. Texas State falls to 9-21 and 4-13 in league play with the loss. Overall, USU is one of just six teams nationally to win 20-plus games in each of the last 14 seasons along with Duke, Florida, Gonzaga, Kansas and Syracuse. In all, it is the 28th time in school history USU has won 20 games in a single season.

San Jose State vs. UTSA (Cancelled)

-The San Jose State-UTSA men's basketball game was cancelled by the Western Athletic Conference office due to unsafe conditions from rainwater leaking on the Event Center court during pre-game warm-ups.

With heavy rain falling in the San Jose area, water began to leak onto the floor during pre-game warm-ups. Officials stopped the pre-game countdown clock to see if crews could stop the water from falling onto the court. The leaks spread to different locations on the floor and the game officials made the decision to cancel the game.

San Jose State will host Texas State on Saturday, March 9, while UTSA travels to play Utah State in Logan.
