DENVER-The San Jose State-UTSA men's basketball game was cancelled by the Western Athletic Conference office due to unsafe conditions from rainwater leaking on the Event Center court during pre-game warm-ups.

With heavy rain falling in the San Jose area, water began to leak onto the floor during pre-game warm-ups. Officials stopped the pre-game countdown clock to see if crews could stop the water from falling onto the court. The leaks spread to different locations on the floor and the game officials made the decision to cancel the game.

San Jose State will host Texas State on Saturday, March 9, while UTSA travels to play Utah State in Logan.
