DENVER - Seven WAC Indoor Track and Field athletes will compete in the 2013 NCAA Indoor Championships Friday and Saturday in Fayetteville, Ark.

For the men, Louisiana Tech's Trey Hadnot will return to the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in 200-meter dash, as his time of 20.81 is currently stands ninth in the nation. UT Arlington will be represented by three athletes at the NCAA meet. Romain Martin, Clayton Vaughn and Bozidar Antunovic, ranked among the nation's top eight for the first time in school history. Martin is listed eighth in the heptathlon based on his season-best score of 5,756 from the Bill Bergan Invitational. Vaughn, a returning All-American, enters the Indoor Championships ranked seventh in the 60 meters with a time of 6.63. Antunovic, whose throw of 65-08.25 at the Western Athletic Conference Championships smashed his own school record, ranks fourth in the nation in the shot put. Another WAC shot putter will be in the field at the NCAA's. UTSA's Richard Garrett, the 2013 WAC Field Athlete of the Year, enters the competition ranked third in the nation with a distance of 20.05m (65-09.25). Texas State's Logan Cunningham, coming off a WAC Championship meet record vault of 5.53m (18-01.75) will compete in the pole vualt for the Bobcats. His record height seeds him eighth in the nation.

For the women, Idaho's Hannah Kiser will participate in the 3,000m run with a time of 9:04.74, which is currently fifth in the nation.

The meet begins Friday with the men's heptathlon. Individual events start Friday night with the women's mile run at 5:30 p.m. CT.
