Bozeman, Mont.-(SJSU Media Relations) Another solid offensive game for James Kinney, a double-double for Chris Cunningham and a near double-dobule for D.J. Brown all contributed to San Jose State's 82-74 win at Montana State Saturday afternoon. The Spartans even their record at 3-3 on the season.
Kinney followed up his 30-point performance at #10 Kansas with 23 points to lead all scorers. He was 9-of-16 from the field including 3-of-8 from three-point range and added two assists and two steals. Kinney also finished second on the team in rebounding with seven.

New Mexico State 68, Southern Miss 60

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (NMSU Media Relations)-The New Mexico State men's basketball team handed Southern Mississippi (6-1) its first loss of the season with a 68-60 decision. The Aggies stayed perfect inside the Pan American Center with its fourth win of the year (4-4).
Sophomore guard Daniel Mullings recorded his first double-double of the season with 21 points and 11 rebounds. He was 6-of-9 from the field and 9-of-10 from the free-throw line. It was Mullings' third 20-point game of the season. Freshman center Sim Bhullar contributed a career-high 17 points and seven rebounds on a 7-of-8 showing from the field.

Idaho 73, UC Davis 66

MOSCOW, Idaho --(AP) Stephen Madison had 21 points, Kyle Barone had 12 and Idaho needed a 26 for 31 effort from the free-throw line to get past visiting UC Davis on Saturday night 73-66.
Madison was 7 of 14 from the field and pulled six rebounds. Barone added eight rebounds and three assists to his point total and Connor Hill chipped in with 11.
Idaho (2-4) shot 42 percent from the field, hitting 21 of 50 shot attempts, and out-rebounded the Aggies 35 to 24. The Vandals were up 38-35 at halftime and led by as many as 13 in the second half.

CSU Bakersfield 85, UTSA 52

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. —(UTSA Media Relations) Senior Kannon Burrage scored 18 points, but Stephon Carter poured in 20 and CSU Bakersfield took advantage of 26 UTSA turnovers in an 85-52 victory on Saturday night at Rabobank Arena.
UTSA (3-4) fell behind by double digits in the first five minutes and never recovered in the first-ever meeting between the only two NCAA Division I schools with the nickname Roadrunners.

Texas 70, UT Arlington 54

AUSTIN, Texas –(UTA Media Relations) A barrage of 3-pointers doomed UT Arlington in Saturday afternoon's 70-54 loss to the Texas Longhorns at the Erwin Center.
The Mavericks dropped to 3-2 on the season and suffered their first road loss. Texas (5-3) drilled a season-high 13 shots from beyond the arc in improving to 8-0 all-time against UT Arlington. The previous high for 3-pointers against the Mavs this season was nine by Samford on Nov. 24.
