LAS CRUCES, N.M. - (NMSU Media Relations) In the seventh overtime match of the season, the New Mexico State soccer team defeated CSU Bakersfield, 1-0, in a non-conference contest. The Aggies (2-10-3) need less than two minutes in extra time to beat the Roadrunners (5-9-2). NM State scored when sophomore defender Alexys Brownell headed a ball into the net for her first career goal. The goal developed on a corner kick from senior midfielder Elise Nordin, which was her second assist of the season.

SAN JOSE, Calif. - (SJSU Media Relations) San Jose State (4-10-1, 2-4-1 WAC) recorded its first multi-goal game since August 24 and put a notch in its win column, as the Spartans beat Seattle University, 2-1, in a Western Athletic Conference (WAC) match Sunday afternoon. "Today, we finally scored first and playing with the lead made such a difference," said Spartans head coach Jeff Leightman. "It is so much easier than trying to play from behind."

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - (Louisiana Tech Media Relations) - Panic could have easily set in for Louisiana Tech when they were forced to play with 10 players after leading goal scorer Emily Brennan was issued a red card, but the Lady Techsters forced the match into overtime and came out with the 1-0 victory today on Laura LeFevour's golden goal at the UTSA Rec Sports Complex. This marked the first time ever in program history that LA Tech (12-1-3) was able to come out on top being down a player. The Lady Techsters boosted their conference record to 3-0-1, putting them currently second in the standings. Meanwhile, UTSA (2-10-2) fell to 1-1-3 on WAC play.

MOSCOW, Idaho - (Utah State Media Relations) - Utah State soccer completed the road portion of its Western Athletic Conference schedule with a 3-1 win against Idaho at Guy Wicks Field in Moscow, Idaho Sunday. The Aggies end with a 2-0-2 mark this season on the road in WAC matches with wins against Seattle and Idaho to go with ties against New Mexico State and Denver. Overall, the USU improves to 9-2-6 this season and 4-0-2 in league play. The Aggies have now won four-straight matches after tying three in a row. Idaho falls to 4-12-1 overall and 1-3-1 in WAC matches. USU also improves to 14-1 all-time against Idaho.
