RUSTON, La. - (Louisiana Tech Media Relations) A great defensive effort by Louisiana Tech was quickly shattered when goalkeeper Caitlin Updyke suffered an arm injury on a save, leaving the net wide open for a put in by Denver for the 1-0 lead. With 20 minutes still left to play, the Techsters went for broke on the attack and it paid off big time as they scored on a free kick with just 2 minutes remaining, sending the match into overtime and ultimately a 1-1 draw with No. 19 ranked and WAC preseason favorite Denver. The tie preserves both team's unbeaten streaks and moves LA Tech to 9-1-3 (0-0-1 in WAC play) on the season and Denver to 9-1-4 (1-0-2 in WAC play).

SAN JOSE, Calif. - (Texas State Media Relations) Playing on the San Jose State football field, which is a faster track than normal, the Texas State soccer team used the fast track to generate scoring opportunities, resulting in a 3-1 win over the Spartans, Friday night. With the win, the Bobcats moved into first place in the WAC with a 2-1 league record. Tied 1-1, Taylor Person found a loose ball off a Sydney Curry corner kick and put it in the back of the net for her third goal of the year. The goal came just four minutes following San Jose State's goal.

LOGAN, Utah - (Utah State Media Relations) After back-to-back 0-0 overtime shutouts, the Utah State soccer team exploded for three goals as the Aggies opened the home portion of the Western Athletic Conference schedule, 3-0, against UTSA at Chuck and Gloria Bell Soccer on Friday. The win was the Aggies first since a 1-0 win against Eastern Washington on Sept. 7. USU had been 0-1-5 in their last six matches prior to the win. The Aggies improve to 6-2-6 overall 1-0-2 in the WAC with their first conference win this season. The Roadrunners are now1-8-2 overall and 0-1-2 in league action.
