COACHES: New Mexico State's DeWayne Walker is in his fourth season with the Aggies and is 10-33. Idaho's Robb Akey is in his sixth year with the Vandals and is 19-48.
GAME NOTES: New Mexico State - has lost six straight road games and 14 straight conference games on the road ... plays three of its next four games on the road ... is the least penalized team in the WAC at 46.4 yards per game ... SERIES LOOK: New Mexico won the only other meeting between the two schools in 2003, 72-8, in Albuquerque.
COACHES: Texas State's Dennis Franchione is in his fourth season with the Bobcats and is 21-17. Overall, he is 195-109-2 in 27 years as a head coach including a 33-36 record at New Mexico from 1992-97. New Mexico's Bob Davie is in his first year with the Lobos. Overall, he is 37-28 in six years as a head coach.
GAME NOTES: Texas State - has scored just three points in the fourth quarters of games this year ... plays three of its next four games on the road ... leads the WAC in fourth-down conversion defense (2-for-8) ...
