DENVER - (Denver Media Relations) The University of Denver women's soccer team drew 0-0 with Utah State, Sunday afternoon in Western Athletic Conference action at CIBER Field at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium. The tie extended No. 18 Denver's unbeaten streak to 12 matches. "I think that Utah State came back really well after playing an overtime game Friday," head coach Jeff Hooker said. "They had a lot of energy and they gave us some trouble. In the end, we created some really good chances. I think the thing that sums it up is we had 24 shots and only six were on goal."

SAN MARCOS, Texas - (Seattle U Media Relations) Seattle University women's soccer (6-5-1, 1-0-1) faced Texas State (4-8-1, 1-1-0) to finish out their first conference weekend and came away with the win, 2-0. "I was very happy to see us score two goals and get the shutout on the road, especially after a tough OT game on Friday," said head coach Julie Woodward. "I think the team did a great job of grinding out a win. Julia Moravec had a solid game and her first collegiate goal. Ava Ames also brought some much needed energy to the field."

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - (SJSU Media Relations) Amanda Heins' first goal of the season in extra time gave San Jose State women's soccer (3-7-1, 1-1-0 WAC) a 1-0 victory over New Mexico State in a Western Athletic Conference (WAC) match in Las Cruces, N.M., Sunday afternoon. "In the first half, New Mexico State (1-8-3, 0-1-1 WAC) played hard and well in the first half and they really controlled the tempo of the game," said San Jose State head coach Jeff Leightman. "But we responded well in the second half. We took over the game and put them under pressure. Finally, a goal went in and we needed it."

SAN ANTONIO - (UTSA Media Relations) UTSA fell behind early in the second half on Sunday, but freshman Kauwela Neal's first collegiate goal helped the Roadrunners rally to tie Idaho, 1-1. After a scoreless opening half that saw UTSA (1-7-2, 0-0-2 WAC) out-shoot the Vandals, 8-4, Erica Hart put the visitors ahead in the 52nd minute with her second goal of the season. Katie Baran quickly took a pass from Chelsea Small and found Hart on the left wing. The senior's shot beat freshman goalkeeper Katarina Pus to her right for a 1-0 advantage.
