Pacific 3, San Jose State 0
Mary Alice O'Reilly had a team-best 11 kills, but San Jose State was swept by Pacific (25-21, 25-17, 25-20) in a non-conference match at Spartan Gym Tuesday night. With the loss, SJSU ftopps to 6-8 on the season.

The Tigers out-hit the Spartans 363 to .157. Pacific also had more kills (46-37), assists (44-35), digs (57-40) and blocks (6.5-3).

O'Reilly led the team with 11 kills and two blocks, while Krista Miller hit a team-best .429 with seven kills.  Alex Akana had eight kills, while Samantha O'Connell added six kills and six digs.

Kiely Pieper led the team with nine digs, while Hanah Blume added five kills and eight digs. Setter Michaela Leonard had 32 assists and six digs.


Air Force 3, Denver 2
After taking the first set, Denver fell in five (25-18, 20-25, 25-19. 24-26, 9-15) at Air Force Tuesday night in non-conference action. With the loss, the Pioneers drop to 8-6 on the season.

Denver out-hit the Falcons .218 to .153 and out-blocked them, 18-7. But Air Force had more kills (60-54), assists (58-51), service aces (8-3) and digs (60-55) than the Pioneers.

Michele Swope led DU with 16 kils and 14 digs for her third double-double of the season. Faimie Kinglesy posted a match-high 12 blocks in the loss.
