COACHES: UTSA's Larry Coker is in his second season with the Roadrunners and is 6-6. Overall, he is 66-21 in eight years as a head coach. Georgia State's Bill Curry is in his third year with the Panthers and is 9-15. Overall, he is 92-120-4 in 20 years as a head coach.

COACHES: Rice' David Bailiff is in his sixth year with the Owls and is 24-39. Overall, he is 45-54 in nine years as a head coach. Louisiana Tech's Sonny Dykes is in his third season with the Bulldogs and is 14-12.

GAME NOTES: Idaho - has a five-game losing streak ... has not returned a punt this year ... in his debut last week against Bowling Green, Dominique Blackman completed 30-of-37 passes for 352 yards and a touchdown ... Jahrie Level caught 10 passes last week, the most by an Idaho receiver since 2009 ... he had 119 yards receiving, marking the second straight game an Idaho receiver hit the century mark. LSU - hosted Washington last week and won, 41-3 ... held Washington to just 26 rushing yards ... SERIES LOOK: UTEP leads the series 52-35-2. The Miners have won three in a row after last year's 16-10 win at Las Cruces. New Mexico State's last win came in 2008, 34-33, in El Paso.
COACHES: New Mexico State's DeWayne Walker is in his fourth season with the Aggies and is 10-30. UTEP's Mike Price is in his ninth year with the Miners and is 45-54. Overall, he is 174-176 in 31 years as a head coach.
GAME NOTES: The teams play for two traveling trophies: the Silver Spade and the Brass Spittoon. New Mexico State - has lost five straight road games ... has not returned a punt this year ... Austin Franklin is second in the nation in receiving yards per game with 154.0 ... he is tied for the WAC lead in receptions per game with 6.5 ... COACHES: Colorado State's Jim McElwain is in his first season with the Rams and is 1-1. San Jose State's Mike MacIntyre is in his third season with the Spartans and is 7-20.
GAME NOTES: Colorado State - hosted North Dakota State last week and lost, 22-7 ... Garrett Grayson was 5-of-12 for 109 yards and a touchdown with one interception ... Pete Kontodiakos is sixth in the nation in punting with a 47.9-yard average ... hosts Utah State next week. San Jose State - the 45 points scored last week were the most for the Spartans in a game since 2007 ... is .500 for the first time since the end of the 2008 season ... has allowed 33 points in its first two games, the lowest total at this point for the Spartans since 1990 ... had 12 tackles for a loss (6 sacks) last week against UC Davis.

Montee Ball (15 carries for 61 yards) did not score, snapping a streak of 21 consecutive games with a touchdown ... has won 17 straight home games and has 40 home wins since 2006, the most by any FBS team.
