Seattle U 3, Boise State 2
Seattle University overcame a 2-1 match deficit to defeat Boise State 3-2 (25-22, 24-26, 23-25, 25-22, 15-13) Tuesday night at the Connolly Center.

Kaytlyn Dill led all players with 27 kills, tying the third-highest single-match total in Seattle U history, and added 13 digs for her second double-double of the season. She also had four service aces and three total blocks. Karina Miastkowska and Karli Pedone tallied 18 kills apiece, with Pedone posting a .516 hitting percentage.

Redhawk setter Jacquie Brice finished with 61 assists, tied for sixth-most in one match in school history, along with nine digs and two blocks. Libero Lani Beadle collected a career-high 24 digs and McKenzie Daniels added 16 digs to the winning effort.

Seattle U ended the match with 72 kills, a .276 hitting percentage, 77 digs, and 6.5 blocks. The victory allowed the Redhawks to equal their win total from all of 2011, and it was the third win over Boise State in three meetings since 2008.


Northwestern State 3, Lousiana Tech 0
Louisiana Tech fell Tuesday night in Prather Coliseum to the Lady Demons of Northwestern State in straight sets 25-11, 25-17, 25-14 in the final non-conference matchup of the campaign.

The Techsters (3-9, 0-0 WAC) were outhit throughout the match, as the Lady Demons recorded a .289 hitting percentage to Tech's .078 for the three sets played. Tech notched 20 kills in the match. Maria Coelho had 11 assists to bring her season total to 320, while Ana Rodrigues added 10 digs for the Lady Techsters.


TCU 3, UT Arlington 0
UT Arlington (4-8) could not overcome a strong service line from TCU (9-1) Tuesday night to lose 3-0 at the TCU Recreational Center.

The Horned Frogs finished with eight aces in the match, six of which came in the first set of play.

Amy Davault led the Mavericks on offense and was one kill away from a double-double vs. the Frogs. She finished with nine kills and 10 digs in the match.
