SEATTLE, Wash. -- (SU Media Relations) Seattle University women’s soccer senior Melissa Busque (St. Bruno, Quebec, Canada) has been named to the Division I CollegeSoccer360 Primetime Performer Weekly Honor Roll for the week of Aug. 27 – Sept. 2 for her performance in the team’s 1-0 victory over Portland State.

“I’m really happy about this win, because Portland State is a good team, and I feel like it was hard-fought and well-earned,” said Seattle U head coach Julie Woodward. “It was a great service by Melissa Busque and a great finish by Stephanie Verdoia.”

Recording 73 minutes in the start versus Portland State, Busque notched her first career assist for the Redhawks in the match on Stephanie Verdoia’s (Salt Lake City, Utah) game-winning goal in the 76th minute.
