Louisiana Tech 11, Louisiana College 0
PINEVILLE, La. - (LTU Media Relations) With hurricane Isaac set to make landfall in the next 24 hours, Louisiana Tech snuck in a match versus Louisiana College and came away with an 11-0 win. The game was moved up two separate times in an effort to make-up the cancellation of the season opener against Murray State. For head coach Kevin Sherry, today was much more about getting playing time for his young roster rather than the notch in the win column. "I'm appreciative of [Louisiana College head coach] Bruce Deaton for keeping this game on," said Sherry. "It was just what we were looking for, an opportunity for players who haven't played a lot of minutes to play." Junior forward Emily Brennan got the Techsters on the board in the 2nd minute on an assist from Rosie Lethbridge.
