Fresno State 4, Sacramento State 3 (13)
Fresno State defeated Sacramento State 4-3 in 13 innings to claim the 2012 WAC Baseball Tournament championship on Sunday at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa, Ariz. Jordan Luplow hit a ball to right field, scoring Daniel Moultrie from second base in the bottom of the 13th inning to win the game. The game marked the longest WAC Tournament game in league history.

Fresno State 9, Sacramento State 6
Fresno State used a four-run seventh inning to come-from-behind to defeat Sacramento State 9-6 on Saturday night, forcing a winner-take-all showdown on Sunday at noon for the 2012 WAC Tournament title. Gene Escat picked up the win on the mound after going 3.1 innings with four strikeouts while giving up only one earned run. Fresno State tallied five consecutive walks that led three runs scored in the seventh inning.
Fresno State 6, Louisiana Tech 4
Taylor Garrison pitched 5.0 innings with five strikeouts while not allowing a run to help Fresno State defeat Louisiana Tech 6-4 on Saturday. With the win, Fresno State advances to play Sacramento State at 7 p.m. The Bulldogs will need to defeate Sacramento State twice to claim the 2012 WAC Tournament championship. Jordan Luplow led the Bulldogs at the plate with a 3-for-4 performance. Luplow recorded a game-high four RBI in the victory. Tyler Qualls led LA Tech with a 3-for-3 effort at the plate with two runs and two RBI.
Day 3
Sacramento State 8, Fresno State 3
Brennan Leitao pitched 6.1 innings with three strikeouts while giving up only four hits and three earned runs to help Sacramento State defeat Fresno State 8-3. With the win, Sacramento State advances to the Saturday's 7 p.m. championship game. Derrick Chung, Clay Cederquist and Will Soto each went 3-for-5 at the plate for the Hornets. With the loss, Fresno State will play No. 6 Louisiana Tech at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Louisiana Tech 18, Nevada 5 (7)
Jamie Gilley pitched 3.1 innings with four strikeouts while giving up only four hits and no runs as Louisiana Tech defeated Nevada 18-5 in seven innings. Bre'shon Kimbell led LA Tech at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored, five RBI and a home run. Kyle Hunt led Nevada with a 2-for-3 performance at the plate. With the win, LA Tech moves on to play the loser of game eight at 3 p.m. PT on Friday. Nevada is eliminated from the tournament with the loss.
Louisiana Tech 15, New Mexico State 12
Taylor Terrasas went 3-for-5 at the plate with three runs and a game-high five RBI to help Louisiana Tech to a 15-12 win over New Mexico State. Chris Sadberry came into the game in the third inning and pitched 5.1 innings with three strikeouts while only allowing three earned runs. Kyle Arnsberg went 3-for-5 in the game with a game-high four runs scored.
Day 2
Fresno State 15, New Mexico State 8
The fifth-seeded Fresno State baseball team defeated No. 1 seed New Mexico State 15-8 on Thursday night during day two action of the WAC Tournament. The win featured a 10-run second inning by the Bulldogs that helped Fresno State build a 12-run lead before NMSU got on the board with six runs in the sixth. The Bulldogs recorded 20 hits on the night. Justin Haley picked up the win on the mound for the Bulldogs, going 5.2 innings with four strikeouts.
Sacramento State 15, Nevada 5 (8)
Sacramento State tallied 19 hits as the Hornets defeated Nevada 15-5 in
eight innings on Thursday. Will Soto led the Hornets with a 3-for-4
effort at the plate with three runs and two RBI. Dallas Chadwick went
5.2 innings on the mound for Sacramento State.
Louisiana Tech 9, Hawai‘i 6
Justin Gordey went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with two runs and an RBI to help Louisiana Tech to a 9-6 win against Hawai‘i in game three of the 2012 WAC Baseball Tournament. With the loss, Hawai‘i is eliminated from the tournament. LA Tech moves on to play on Friday at 11 a.m. against a team to still be determined.
Day 1
Nevada 4, Louisiana Tech 3
Carlos Escobar Jr. hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth
inning to give Nevada a 4-3 win over Louisiana Tech. Bradey Shipley
pitched Nevada to a complete game nine-inning victory on the mound.
Shipley gave up only three runs and five hits while recording nine
strikeouts. LA Tech's Jeb Steffan pitched 8.0 innings while giving up
only three runs and five hits with eight strikeouts.
Fresno State 8, Hawai‘i 2
Aaron Judge went 4-for-5 at the plate with two doubles, a triple, and a single to help Fresno State to an 8-2 victory over Hawai‘i. Thomas Harlan pitched 6.1 innings and gave up only two runs with five strikeouts for the Bulldogs. Collin Bennett led Hawai‘i with a 3-for-4 performance at the plate.
