FRESNO, Calif. - (FS Media Relations) The Fresno State baseball team hammered UC Davis early and often en route to a smashing 11-4 victory over the Aggies on Wednesday evening at Beiden Field.

The Bulldogs scored three runs in the bottom of the first and never looked back in responding to an early 1-0 deficit.

Patrick Hutcheson's second-inning two-run blast over the right-centerfield fence chased UC Davis starter Evan Wolf from the game to the tune of boy-band favorite Bye, Bye, Bye playing over the stadium sound system. It was Hutcheson's third homer of the year, struck in nearly the same location as his previous two bombs.

Senior designated hitter Kenneth Wise kissed one good-bye as well in the fourth just off the right-field foul pole.
