Hawai'i will represent the WAC in the 2012 NCAA Women's Tennis Team Championships as announced by the NCAA today.

The Rainbow Wahine (15-6) will head to the campus of Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., where they will face No. 20 Note Dame (20-7) in the first round on Friday, May 11. Hawai'i fell 6-1 to the Fighting Irish earlier this season, on March 14.

In the other half of the bracket, No. 13 Northwestern (16-7) hosts Akron (24-3). The winners of the two first-round matches will play in the second round on Saturday, May 12.

The winner of each first- and second-round site advances to the NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championships May 17-22 at the Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga., hosted by Georgia.
