WAC EARNS STRONG REPRESENTATION AT NCAA REGIONALS
All five of the WAC’s gymnastics teams will be represented at the 2012 NCAA Gymnastics Regional Championships as two teams and numerous individuals have been selected to participate.
2012 WAC championship meet champion Denver and WAC regular season champion San Jose State will each compete as a team at the Champaign and Salt Lake City regionals. Individuals from Sacramento State, Southern Utah and Utah State will compete at the Salt Lake City and Seattle regionals.
The top two teams and the top two all-around competitors (who are not on an advancing team) from each regional will receive an automatic berth to the national championships in Duluth, Ga., April 20-22, hosted by the Gwinnett Center and Georgia Tech. In addition, the event winners at each regional site will advance to the national championships (in that event only) if they are not part of a qualifying team or an all-around qualifier.
SAN JOSE STATE CLAIMS REGULAR SEASON TITLE

Sacramento State, Southern Utah and Utah State each finished with identical 1-2 records. Denver was not competing for a regular season title this year as it did not compete in a regular season WAC schedule.
