DENVER - Utah State's Andrew Paulson has been named the Verizon Western Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week for February 27-March 4.

Paulson, a freshman from Sandy, Utah (Brighton HS), tied for 23rd-place with an 8-over par 224 (74-74-76) at the Washington State hosted Snowman Getaway last week.  Utah State finished in seventh-place out of 16 teams with a 34-over 898 (301-305-292).  It is the first time in his career that Paulson has won a WAC golfer of the week or month award.
