Meade worked the 2003-04 school year the WAC Office in Englewood, Colo., as the Compliance Services Intern. At the same time, she also pursued her juris doctorate at the University of Denver College of Law that she received in May 2004.
For the past five years, Meade was the Director of Compliance at the University of Texas-El Paso. She oversaw all compliance issues for the 16-sports Miner athletics program. Meade worked to make sure all coaches, administrators, student-athletes and booster knew all NCAA rules.
Meade also interned at two other offices before the WAC. She was at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference for the first five months of 2003 and at Metropolitan State College from May to November 2003.
Meade earned a bachelor of arts in anthropology from Hartwick College where she received cum laude recognition and a Faculty Scholar. While in college, she was a member of the Hawks women's soccer team and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
