(5/5) Boise State (8-0/3-0) at Louisiana Tech (3-5/2-3)

SERIES LOOK:
Boise State leads the series 7-4 after winning the previous seven games.  The Broncos won last year in Boise, 38-3.  Louisiana Tech's last win came in 2001, 48-42, in Ruston.
COACHES:
Boise State's Chris Petersen is in his fourth season with the Broncos and is 43-4.  Louisiana Tech's Derek Dooley is in his third season with the Bulldogs and is 16-17.
GAME NOTES:
Boise State - has won 10 straight road games ... has an 11-game WAC winning streak ... has allowed its opponents to score a nation-low eight times in the red zone ... sophomore Kellen Moore's 24 touchdown passes are the second most in the nation behind Case Keenum of Houston (25) and one shy of tying his output from all of last year ... Austin Pettis' nine touchdown receptions are tied for the second most in the nation ... Fresno State (5-3/4-1) at Idaho (7-2/4-1)

SERIES LOOK:
Fresno State leads the series 7-4 after winning the previous six games.  The Bulldogs won last year in Fresno, 45-32.  Idaho's last win came in 1967, 30-14, in Fresno.
COACHES:
Fresno State's Pat Hill is in his 13th season as a head coach and has a record of 97-64.  Idaho's Robb Akey is in his third year with the Vandals and is 10-23.
GAME NOTES:
Fresno State - has a four-game winning streak ... plays three of its last four games on the road ... has not allowed any points in the second half in its last two games ... is second in the WAC in scoring offense, total offense, scoring defense and total defense ... Ryan Mathews is four rushing touchdowns from tying the school record of 35 ... Kevin Goessling has made all 36 PATs this year and is tied for the most attempts in the WAC this season.  Idaho - is third in the nation in third-down efficiency (52.7 percent) ... has lost four fumbles, tied for the fewest in the WAC this year ... Nathan Enderle leads the WAC with 267.1 passing yards per game ... junior DB Shiloh Keo leads the WAC in tackles with 9.8 per game ... DeMaundray Woolridge leads the WAC in TDs with 14.


Utah State (2-6/1-3) at Hawai'i (2-6/0-5)

SERIES LOOK:
Utah State leads the series 5-4 after winning in Logan last year, 30-14.  Hawai'i won the previous year in Honolulu, 52-37.
COACHES:
Utah State's Gary Andersen is in his first season with the Aggies.  Hawai'i's Greg McMackin is in his second season with the Warriors and is 9-13.
GAME NOTES:
Utah State - has lost 11 consecutive road games ... after facing the nation's fifth-ranked rushing offense last week, takes on the nation's third-ranked passing offense this week ... Diondre Borel has thrown at least one touchdown pass in seven straight games ... Borel is 16 rushing yards shy of 1,000 for his career ... he has not thrown an interception in 226 attempts, the longest active streak in the nation (the WAC record is 271 set by Fresno State's Trent Dilfer in 1993) ... Robert Turbin is 128 rushing yards of reaching 1,000 this season.  Hawai'i - is 0-6 after a 2-0 start ... plays four of its last five games at home ... Greg Salas is 23 receiving yards shy of 1,000 for the season ... he leads the WAC in both receptions per game (7.4) and receiving yards per game (122.1).


Nevada (5-3/4-0) at San Jose State (1-6/0-3)

SERIES LOOK:
Nevada leads the series 13-8-2 after winning last year in Reno, 41-17.  The Spartans won the previous year in San Jose, 27-24, snapping a five-game losing streak against the Wolf Pack.
COACHES:
Nevada's Chris Ault is in his 25th year with the Wolf Pack and has a record of 203-94-1.  He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.  San Jose State's Dick Tomey is in his fifth season with the Spartans and is 24-31.  Overall, he is 182-141-7 in 29 years with stints at Hawai'i and Arizona.
GAME NOTES:
Nevada - has won five in a row after a 0-3 start ... plays three of its last four games on the road ... is second to last in the nation in red zone defense allowing 18-of-19 scores (.947) ... Colin Kaepernick's yards per carry average of 6.91 is the second best of any active player in the nation ... Dontay Moch leads the nation in TFL (2.06/game) ... Kevin Basped leads the WAC in sacks (0.86/game).  San Jose State - has lost six consecutive WAC games including four in a row at home ... plays three of its next four games at home ... is 14-of-14 in the red zone (12 TDs, 2 FGs), the only team in the nation with a 100 percent success rate.
