Boise State Soccer to Face UCLA in First Round of NCAA Tournament Friday

The Boise State University soccer team, fresh off its WAC Tournament championship run this past weekend, learned Monday night that it will face UCLA in the first round of the NCAA Soccer Championship this Friday at 5:30 p.m. PT.

The Broncos (13-6-4) will play the No. 3 ranked UCLA Bruins (17-2-1) Friday at 5:30 p.m. PT in Los Angeles, Calif., in the first of two contests that evening. The tournament is being hosted at UCLA’s Drake Stadium.

UCLA enters the event as the No. 1 seed in the bracket, it marks the third year in a row that the Bruins have received a No. 1 seed. Meanwhile, Boise State competing in its first ever NCAA soccer tournament earned the 16th seed as the representative of the WAC. The winner of the UCLA-Boise State match will play the winner of Friday’s second contest between the University of San Diego (12-6-2) and San Diego State University (14-3-5) at 1 p.m. PT on Sunday afternoon. 


Tickets for this weekend’s matches are $9.00 for adults and $7.00 for youth/students.
